Notice Concerning Market Purchase of Own Shares and Completion of Acquisition

USHIO INC. announced that it has acquired its own shares as follows, under Article 156, as applied pursuant to paragraph 3, Article 165, of the Corporation Law, and that it has completed the acquisition on the basis of a resolution pursuant to Article 370 of the Corporation Law, dated September 5,2011.
