USHIO Selected for the FTSE4Good Index for the Twelfth Consecutive Year

USHIO INC. was selected as a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series, a socially responsible investment (SRI) index※1 provided by the U.K.-based FTSE Group※2, for the twelfth consecutive year.

Along with the DJSI (Dow Jones Sustainability World Index), the FTSE4Good Index※3 is a representative index used for making socially responsible investments. Currently, 803 companies from 25 countries around the world are included, of which 179 companies are from Japan (as of July 31, 2015).

Recognized for its performance in the areas of environmental preservation as well as the protection of human rights, USHIO has been chosen for the index since 2004.
