These lamps employ a rare gas (xenon gas) and have achieved improvements in temperature dependency and light volume stability as well as increases in luminance and reduction in scale by adopting the external electrode system. These are clean light sources that do not contain mercury, and can meet diverse needs including CCD scanning.
No warm-up is needed and the lamps light instantly when voltage is input.
Nearly flat spectral distribution can be obtained in the lamp axial direction. We also offer lamps with customized specifications, such as those with a light intensity distribution that has greater light volumes at both ends.
The intensity maximizes almost simultaneously with the lighting, and remains stable thereafter.
The light volume records almost no change in relation to the ambient temperatures as no mercury is used.
High luminosity is achieved, as the light emitted from the aperture is highly directional.
