Halogen Heaters

Halogen heaters are designed to improve efficiency in using light from the infrared regions of halogen lamps.
They have very good features that are not found in other heat sources, such as superior flexibility and controllability, as well as a high level of efficiency and cleanliness. Characteristics


Highly efficient energy sources

These heaters have highly efficient heat sources, allowing 85% or more of the input power to be converted and emitted. As they use lamp-based heat emissions, they can efficiently direct the heat to the specific object, irrespective of the atmospheric conditions.


High power density and rapid temperate increases of 1000℃ or higher

Heat is generated from the tungsten filament with a color temperature of 2500K.


High level of controllability due to light

These heaters can collect and disperse light, and handle heat flexibly through the use of lenses and mirrors. They provide highly efficient heating through the use of simple systems.


Compact, clean heat sources

Despite their large energy volume, these heaters have a compact, lightweight design, and they can be easily installed in a confined space. In addition, they provide non-contact heating, meaning there is no need to worry about polluting either the object or the testing environment. They can be used in any heating atmosphere, air or vacuum.


Quick ON/OFF response

As a filament with a reduced heat capacity is used as a heat source, the energy level rises and falls nearly the same time the switch is turned ON/OFF. These heaters enable subtle heat control and are able to respond to complex heating programs.


Extended life and constant energy emission

These heaters are designed to offer an extended life of 5000 hours thanks to the halogen cycle. Furthermore, they maintain constant energy emission until the end of their product life.
