Ushio received "AA" for the first time in MSCI ESG Ratings
Ushio Inc. (Head Office: Tokyo; President and CEO: Koji Naito; hereinafter “Ushio”) received MSCI ESG Ratings of “AA” for the first time in August 2023.
MSCI ESG Research provides MSCI ESG Ratings on thousands of companies worldwide in seven grades from the highest rank AAA to the lowest CCC, according to their exposure to industry-specific environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks and the ability to manage those risks relative to peers. This time, Ushio’s rating was upgraded from the previous year’s A to AA, the second highest rating, based on the positive evaluation of our ESG initiatives, including our labor management, corporate governance, and corporate behavior.
Ushio will continue to further promote ESG initiatives and strive to expand our corporate value, as well as help realize a sustainable society.
