Product and Technology HL63723DGAM, Automotive Grade Reliability Standards AEC-Q102 Compliant Product, Added to Lineup

Ushio Inc. (Head Office: Tokyo, President and CEO: Takabumi Asahi, hereinafter “Ushio”) has added HL63723DGAM, Automotive Grade Reliability Standards AEC-Q102 compliant product, to the lineup from March 2026. This product is based on HL63723DG which is red laser diode at 642 nm short wavelength, 200mW high optical output Power, stable wide operating temperature from -40^oC to 85^oC, which is currently in mass production.

HL63723DGAM, newly added AEC-Q102 compliant product, has passed rigorous reliability tests required for automotive optical semiconductor devices, including high temperature, vibration, shock, and humidity.
This product contributes to realization of advanced automotive projection technologies that leverage unique features of lasers, such as high efficiency and wide color gamut, in applications like road surface projection, in-vehicle projection, and head-up displays (HUD). It also helps improve safety of drivers, pedestrians, and surrounding vehicles, as well as enhances passenger comfort through entertainment experiences in vehicle’s private space.
