Custom Multi-Wavelength LED Solutions

Standard Packages (Semi-Custom)

We offer semi-custom orders where you can integrate your desired wavelengths into Ushio's existing standard package lineup.
Consider your required output power and number of wavelengths.
For some products, small quantity samples are available, so please contact us for more information.
All packages can be equipped with a photodiode, allowing both light reception and emission in a single package

For example, the 8in1 package can accommodate up to 8 wavelengths.
By driving each LED independently, you can illuminate the target according to your application, enabling precise parameter measurements and inspections.

If you need a flexible combination of wavelengths for each project rather than fixed wavelengths,
 we also offer the high-power, compact EDCC package. Please consider this option as well.

Full Custom LED Solutions

Leveraging epitex's extensive wavelength lineup from UV to SWIR, we offer unique, one-of-a-kind LEDs tailored to your specific needs.
You can select package size, wavelength, and driving conditions to match your device, and we can also customize the LED arrangement and combination with photodiodes.
We support the development of original products by customizing package colors, adding cavities to each chip, and incorporating non-standard wavelengths.

For development, we recommend selecting the necessary wavelengths and output for your device using single-chip LEDs in advance.

Steps to Mass Production of Full Custom and Semi-Custom LED Products

Step1:Evaluation with Single-Chip Products     
    epitex offers a comprehensive wavelength lineup: UV, Visible, and IR in 10nm increments, and SWIR in 100nm increments.
       Begin by evaluating the standard single-chip LEDs to determine the necessary wavelengths and power.
       You can compare and evaluate our extensive range of wavelengths within the same type of package.

Step2:Prototype Creation and Evaluation    
       Based on the evaluation results from Step 1, select the necessary power and wavelengths.
    We will then propose a prototype of the multi-wavelength LED product with the optimal chips and package.
       Specify your desired peak wavelengths and package shape if you require full customization.
                  We can accommodate detailed peak wavelength selection and full customizations based on your requirements.

Step3:Re-Prototyping and Validation    
       We will create multiple prototypes as needed until your mass production specifications are finalized.

Step4:Agreement on Mass Production Specifications
                
Once the prototypes meet your requirements, we will agree on the specifications for mass production to ensure
                a smooth  transition.
