IRED was the first product in the optical semiconductor business of Hitachi, Ltd.
We have continued to produce this product for 43 years and it has been favorably received by many customers.
FL-type IRED uses a unique dome-shaped chip to achieve high light out-coupling efficiency and lens technology to create a highly parallel beam shape.
Therefore, it is widely used for FA encoders that require high output.
The main feature of SG type is its large, clean, uniform and strong emission with no wire shadow on the emitting surface.
It has been adopted by many customers for eye care systems, space transmission devices, sensor systems and others.
