Notice of Change of Representative Director

Ushio Inc. announced today that, at the Board of Directors meeting held on January 31st, 2019, a resolution has been passed to change the Representative Director, President and Chief Executive Officer as set forth below.

Change of President and Representative Director

・Retirement of President and Representative Director (dated March 31st, 2019)
Mr. Kenji Hamashima (President and Chief Executive Officer, Representative Director)

・Appointment of President and Representative Director (proposed date; late June, 2019)
Mr. Koji Naito (Managing Executive Officer)

Mr. Kenji Hamashima is scheduled to retire Director at the same day as well and to be a part-time Corporate Adviser.
A formal decision regarding the appointment of President and Representative Director will be made subject to the approval at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to be held in late June, 2019 and a subsequent Board of Directors meeting.

・Retirement of Chief Executive Officer (dated March 31st, 2019)

・New Chief Executive Officer (dated April 1st, 2019)
