Ushio completes acquisition of the Industrial and Entertainment lamps business of the ams-OSRAM Group

Ushio Inc. (Head office: Tokyo; President and CEO: Takabumi Asahi, hereinafter “Ushio”) has completed the acquisition of the industrial and entertainment lamps business of the ams-OSRAM AG Group (Head office: Premstaetten, Austria, CEO: Aldo Kamper), which was announced on July 29, 2025.

Ushio is currently advancing the New Growth Strategy toward 2030, and this acquisition significantly contributes to strengthening the profit base of our existing businesses, supporting our future business growth.
With the completion of this acquisition, we will further accelerate the consolidation in the light source industry, enhancing our competitiveness and improving production efficiency. By maximizing the synergies, we aim to further solidify our profit base and pursue sustainable growth.
