Ushio's custom optical elements are based on our microfabrication technology that included light source, optics, lithography and other optical microfabrication technology has been developing since the company was established in 1964.

We support your development of new optical technologies and products from prototyping production to mass production utilizing our developing resources.

About Ushio Microfabrication

Ushio produces manufacturing equipment for electronics, imaging equipment,
life science equipment and other various optical devices in which include a variety of optical elements.
The optical elements include, for example, wire grid polarizers, light sources with photonic crystals,
wavelength conversion elements, microlens arrays, and so on.
Our optical elements are based on optical design technology, optical simulation technology,
lithography technology, and production technology. In order to manufacture these optical elements,
we have processing equipment such as lithography technologies include mask less lithography,
projection lithography, direct imaging lithography, and interference lithography.
Therefor, we can handle everything from process development to mass production processing in-house.
